About Artificial Grass Specialists
Artificial Grass Specialists develops, tests and distributes premium artificial grass and supplies directly to artificial grass professionals, installers and retailers. Artificial Grass Specialists is part of the AGS Group through which they serve Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They do this from branches in Greece, Croatia and the Netherlands. Here, AGS NL is the partner for the Dutch business customer.
Focused on the B2B business market, they themselves do not serve consumers directly, but help their customers do so in the best possible way. They do this by sharing knowledge, delivering premium quality and tailor-made products that are always available at short notice.
The goal
Artificial Grass Specialists had already established companies in Greece and Croatia with associated web shops. Now it was time to enter the Dutch market as well. This required setting up a website with a customer portal.
The main goals for the website were as follows:
● The website should help attract new customers to AGS.
● Providing optimal service for B2B customers by offering a self-service portal.
● More than a website; An e-commerce platform that can support the growth of AGS.
As artificial turf is a seasonal product, it was essential for AGS to work towards an MVP within a short timeframe that met the set key objectives.
The result
Together with Artificial Grass Specialists, we have developed a Shopware 6 which is equipped with a completely custom design based on the wishes of AGS. In this webshop, we deployed our Microsoft 365 Business Central solution for order and customer synchronisation between the Business Central environment and Shopware 6. In addition to placing orders, customers can also log in to the customer portal where they can find information on:

● Company details
● Select desired default payment methods
● Viewing orders
Viewing open invoices
● Retrieve order history
