About Tekno

Tekno builds scale models of trucks for manufacturers, transport companies and collectors from all over the world! With an amazing eye for detail, Tekno reproduces trucks to school where no mirror or light is missing compared to the (large) original. This makes Tekno an absolute world player within its branch, which also has the collector at heart.

The goal

After finding out that the previous webshop, built in Magento 1 no longer met all requirements, Tekno was looking for a new system, preferring Magento 2. There was also a link with Dynamics Nav, but even that did not yet meet all the requirements Tekno now had. The main wishes in a nutshell

The result

Both a business and consumer webshop, in 4 languages, have been set up, where customers can order easily and quickly, including on mobile. The business webshop is shielded, where customers can see their own prices, retrieve sales orders from Navision (including those not placed in the shop) and reserve expected models. Through Mconnect, products can be added and updated from Navision, as well as customers and customer prices. Orders placed in Magento also go directly back to Navision via Mconnect so that the order can be handled and stock updated.

The collector can enjoy navigating through all models, both new and old, including in the digital museum, where previous models can still be admired. The business customer has a quick and easy system where reservations can be quickly placed, products can be ordered and has full insight into all orders placed, invoices and shipments.
