Magento has released a new security update. Not just a patch, but another version right away.

The patch

The patch (SUPEE-8788) closes a number of new security vulnerabilities and makes sure your shop is safe again. The new Magento 1 version (1.9.3) also has this patch in it, but it also immediately introduced a number of new improvements. Quite a list in fact! How do I get this patch and new version installed? 

Of course, if you use our support service, you have nothing to worry about. We have already patched almost all shops, and after that we will carefully upgrade all shops to 1.9.3.
