About Mister Pop
Sneek-based wholesaler Mister Pop specialises in supplying Fun Food such as Popcorn, Nachos and Churros. Mister Pop not only supplies high-quality ingredients, but also equipment to process the ingredients and packaging materials. Through an extensive product catalogue on its webshop, Mister Pop supplies companies in the event and leisure sector, including amusement parks, festivals and fairs.
The situation and purpose
Mister Pop's webshop was outdated and running on a bespoke solution where automation was virtually impossible. When orders came in through the webshop, the back office had to note down the order details from the email and then manually enter them into Exact's accounting software. This was a time-consuming process. The main aim of the new webshop was therefore to optimise the webshop and automate the sales process.
The result
Ecomwise has set up a new, user-friendly webshop to replace the outdated system. For the new webshop, the ecommerce platform of Shopware 6 because of its user-friendly interface and numerous integration options. Specifically, we took the following steps:
- A new design was implemented based on a new corporate identity that is suitable for mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Using the rulebuilder in Shopware 6 is the shipping structure kicked up a notch, making them in most cases automatically calculated can be.
- Automating the ordering process by implementing a customer portal. Customers can log in via a personal account. This allows them not only to place new orders, but also to reorder previous orders. The customer portal is integrated with both the order processing system Exact and the web shop. These adjustments have significantly reduced the workload at Mister Pop, increased efficiency and increased the likelihood of (repeat) orders.
- Realising a real-time stock import. As a result, the current stock on the webshop always matches the actual stock.
